Oglethorpe University congratulates the 365 students named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List, honoring those who achieved at least a 3.50 term grade-point average while earning 12 or more semester hours.

Kennesaw State University congratulates the more than 5,000 students named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List. Students enrolled at least 9 credit hours and with a grade point average of at least 3.5 were named to the list.

Kennesaw State University recently named students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence for the Spring 2019 semester. To achieve this honor, each student must have completed at least 9 semester hours with a term grade point average of 4.0.

More than 150 students from the Georgia State University College of Law earned law (Juris Doctor) degrees during the spring 2019 semester. The university honored students for their achievements this past May, and officially conferred law degrees in late June 2019.

Kennesaw State University recently welcomed its newest class of graduates. Over 3,000 students earned bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees during the Spring 2019 commencement ceremonies in May.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2018-19 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.

The following students have earned the distinction of Dean's List at the Georgia Institute of Technology for Spring 2019.

A total of 11,406 students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Welcome home, Bobcats! On Thursday, June 120, 2019, Georgia College celebrates the newest students and their families as they attend Transfer Student Orientation. Orientation is a day-long program packed with opportunities for students to connect with faculty in their intended major and become familiar with the campus as well as the array of academic and campus life programs available. Orientation allows new members of the Bobcat family to "take care of business" as they prepare for the start of the semester.

Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its spring 2019 Dean's List for full-time and part-time students.

The University of Alabama awarded some 5,716 degrees during its spring commencement May 3-5. With a beautiful campus, dozens of challenging academic programs, expert faculty and numerous opportunities for service and growth, The University of Alabama is a place where legends are made. More than 200 Eastern Connecticut State University students of African, Latino, Asian and Native American (ALANA) descent were honored on May 9 at the 2019 Inclusive Excellence Awards. All students who were honored achieved an overall GPA of at least 3.5. An additional 11 students were recognized for demonstrating exemplary co-curricular engagement at Eastern.

The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to approximately 3,800 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute's 257th Commencement exercises on May 3-4, 2019, at the McCamish Pavilion.

More than 2,000 students earned bachelor's degrees from Georgia State University during the Spring 2019 semester.

More than 800 students earned associate's degrees from Georgia State University's Perimeter College during the Spring 2019 semester.

Georgia State University conferred master's degrees to graduate students across disciplines during the Spring 2019 semester.

University of North Georgia (UNG) President Bonita C. Jacobs recognized students who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the spring 2019 semester. Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in bachelor's degree programs who achieved a 4.0 grade point average were named to the President's Honor Roll. Students enrolled in associate degree programs who met the same level of achievement were named to the President's List.

The deans of each of UNG's five colleges - the College of Arts & Letters, the College of Education, the College of Health Sciences & Professions, the Mike Cottrell College of Business, and the College of Science & Mathematics - announced the names of those students who made their respective lists for spring 2019. Dean's List recognition is achieved by having at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.

Almost 1,300 newly minted University of North Georgia (UNG) graduates walked in spring commencement ceremonies held May 3-4 at the Convocation Center on UNG's Dahlonega Campus

STATESBORO, Ga.-The Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art (BFSDoArt) at Georgia Southern University recently presented its annual Form and Content student exhibition April 5 to 12 at the Center for Art & Theatre on the Statesboro Campus. Form & Content features student work from Art Foundations classes that include Drawing I, Drawing II, 2D Art and Design Foundations, 3D Art and Design Foundations, and Digital Foundations.The exhibition was juried by Ben Tollefson is a nationally-exhibited artist and an assistant curator at the SCAD Museum of Art. Tollefson has been working with both 2D and 3D art, his practice is highly realistically rendered, chromatically complex and tightly composed, yet evocative and surreal in appearance. Winners were announced at the closing reception on April 5. Haley Wilson was awarded first place. Peyton Butts was awarded second place. Genevieve Townsend was awarded third place. Students work accepted in the Form & Content exhibition are Jacoby Aultman, Jalen Austin, Patrick Brownlee, Yaschira Camacho, Carlos Carvajal, Justin Chinnery, MacKenzie Cintron, Katsi Cruz Delgado, Cathy Estes, Brittany Evans, Anna Forbes, Anna Grace Raley, Sabrina Hill, Makenzy Lane, Giselle Martinez, Dubby Ibuoka, Taylor Mcmahan, Matthew McRae, Pardiss Moazzam, Katherine Naude, Laiken Owens, Anna Peters, Abigail Rodriguez-Colon, Elias Smalls, Cheyenne Smith, Megan Tanner, Julianna Tilman, Nina Trammell, Makinzie Wall, Elizabeth Wilson, Devon Witkowski, and Whitney Youngblood Josey.

The following students completed courses with exemplary marks and made the Dean's List for the 2019 spring semester at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga.

The Alpha Eta National Honor Society promotes and recognizes significant scholarship, leadership, and contributions to the allied health professions. Baccalaureate degree candidates who have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 or better are eligible for induction. The Alpha Eta motto is "Together We Serve" to represent all of the allied health professions. Georgia State University became a founding member of Alpha Eta in March 1975.

The following students achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the Spring 2019 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.
